Visit the beautiful lake Mývatn and soak in the Mývatn nature baths.

6. Visit an industrial estate for Iceland’s latest gem

In an industrial estate in the suburban town of Kópavogur, the is the Sky-Lagoon. You will don’t want to miss this.

7. Go Ice exploring

Go deep inside an Icelandic glacier. I am not kidding. You should.

8. Soar like an Icelandic raven

Go tandem paragliding and see Iceland from the air. Just like the Icelandic raven.

9. See the stunning black beach near Vík

Some say the black beach is touristy. I’m afraid I have to disagree. The black beach never fails to impress me.

10. Fall in love with eating Icelandic shark

At Bjarnarhöfn shark museum, the curator will teach you the art of consuming delicious Icelandic sharks.

11. Observe a unique basalt framed waterfall

12. See the Stuðlagil canyon

It would help if you had more perfect basalt columns in your life, so consider visiting Stuðlagil canyon.

13 Dip into Vök nature baths

If you are traveling in the east of Iceland, you should relax at Vök baths.

14. Visit Thingvellir

Thingvellir has a long and complex history. It is well worth visiting.

15. Snorkel between tectonic plates

In the Silfra crevice, you can snorkel in crystal-clear water. Just do it.

16. See the incredible glacial lagoons of Fjallsárlón and Jökulsárlón

The glacial lagoons of Fjallsárlón lagoon and Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon are, in my opinion, must see-places. They will do nothing for your climate anxiety, though.

17. Get ice diamonds for free

At the beach of Breiðamerkursandur, icebergs from the nearby Jökulsárlón – Glacial Lagoon – wash ashore. Beauty ensues.

18. Discover sheer power and feel small

Unless the weather is s*it, walking between glaciers is epic.

20. Learn about the Viking-age settlers

Visit the 871+3 museum downtown Reykjavik and see how the first Icelanders lived.

21 Take a stroll in the Reykjavik park

Elliðaárdalur valley is a pleasant area for a walk, run, or a bike ride.

22. Walk in in Sleipnir’s hoof-steps

The stunningly beautiful Ásbyrgi is such a lovely place to visit. The neighborhood is also just incredible.
