About the tandem paragliding in Vík
The flight starts on a hill high above the village of Vík. After safety instructions and checks with the APPI-qualified guides. You will run for a short distance down a slope. And then you will be flying. I have tried paragliding before, and I failed to rely on my GoPro camera. The camera promptly went out when the flight started. So I would go for the inflight video and photo packages when you book your flight.

The village of Vík in the south of Iceland has become one of the country’s most popular destinations. It is, of course, on the ring road, so it is an excellent stop on road trips.
