Planning a trip to Iceland can be overwhelming. And after fourteen years of publishing Stuck in Iceland Travel Magazine, I’ll be the first to admit — even my own website has become a lot to navigate and digest.

That’s why I built Nonni.

Nonni is Stuck in Iceland’s new AI-powered travel agent, trained on the entire archive of the magazine. Every guide, every interview, every travel tip, and every discount code I’ve gathered since 2012 — Nonni has read it all. Think of it as having a conversation with someone who knows Iceland inside and out and is available around the clock to help you plan your trip.

This isn’t generic travel advice scraped from the internet. It’s curated, local, and personal.

Why the Name Nonni?

Nonni is a common Icelandic nickname for men or boys named Jón. It’s what my late grandfather always called me. Naming the chatbot after him felt right.
