I have been thinking about which are the highest rated day tours in Iceland. There are so many tours available and competition amongst the tour companies is fierce. How can a person visiting Iceland for the first time know what to book? The easy answer to this is to look sites such as Tripadvisor and the reviews there.
Consider the numbers behind recommendation of highest day rated tours in Iceland
My caveat about rating sites is that you have to be careful to look at how many recommendations each tour has received. Then, I got curious about how many day trips on Tripadvisor with a five-star rating have at least 100 reviews. It is pretty clear that the Golden Circle, Langjökull glacier, and the South Coast of Iceland are the most popular and highly rated destinations in Iceland. They weren´t that many and I have compiled them for you here. I hope this helps you find the right tour. I will, of course, update this list from time to time to make sure it stays reasonably fresh. This list was updated on 11th of November 2018.
