How do I choose the travel companies that offer discount codes in Iceland?

Since 2012, I’ve been sharing my passion for Iceland with travelers from around the world. Along the way, I’ve built a community of people who love this country as much as I do, and I’ve gotten to know many of Iceland’s top tour operators and guides personally. Have I ‘fired’ a tour operator?

Yes, once. I learned that a whale watching company was offering tours to an area in Faxaflói Bay, just outside Reykjavik. They took their guests to a zone where they were licensed to have 12 people on board, but had 50 people on board. I immediately took them off my partner list.

Have I ever gotten negative feedback about a tour from my list?

Yes. Once. A lady emailed me that a tour, which she had not discovered on Stuck in Iceland, had not started on time. Thousands of people have used my code since 2019, and this is the only negative feedback I have ever had. I have to admit that I expected to receive a lot more negative feedback when I first started using my discount codes. But certainly helps to choose the partners well.
