Get some Icelandic Dystopian Cool Into Your Ears

Icelandic music is legendary. Everybody loves Björk, The Sugarcubes and Sigurrós. But Iceland also has fantastic rock and heavy metal bands. Check out releases by the Viking metal band Skálmöld, Sólstafir and Dimma. There is a growing scene of neo electric punk bands. Check out Kælan Mikla (The Big Chill). You can´t get any more dystopian cool than that! Rap is also getting bigger in Iceland. The undisputed champions of Icelandic rap are the duo Úlfur Úlfur (Wolf Wolf).
